Weight Loss Story

“I became a new person after losing a whopping 20 kilos!”

Divita Juneja had been a chubby kid for as long as she remembers. For the initial years of her teens, there was a consistent increase in her weight every year, so much so that she weighed 76 kg by the age of 17. One day, when she looked at the person she had become in the mirror, she couldn’t bear to continue with her sedentary practices and decided to make some much-needed healthy changes to her lifestyle. She jump-started her journey with the hiring of a dietician, who had her diet planned in no time. Thereafter, Divita Juneja followed it rigorously, along with pairing it up with regular exercise, for 6 months, which resulted in her losing 12kg. It isn’t a cakewalk to maintain a healthy routine, and Divita Juneja too bore witness to this fact when she took a break and ended up putting on 4kg. Since she had toiled day in and day out to set her life in order, she wasn’t willing to give up on that.
Moving forward, she hired a personal trainer and chef from Bombay to consistently chart the unchartered waters of this weight-loss journey. There were days and weeks when there wasn’t considerable progress in her weight loss, yet she remained steadfast to her goal and kept holding her ground. Currently, she is 56kg which is phenomenal progress that has accorded a measurable boost to her confidence. She still has moments when she retracts, yet her firm resolution has never failed to keep her going regardless of all the retractions. She has come a long way from being body-conscious to being body-positive and hopes to tread on the same path for as long as possible.

Bundle of Joy

Divita Juneja has three adorable pets at her place, namely Tuffy (Labrador), Elfie (Maltese), and Muffy (Maltese). Their first pet, Tuffy came as a blessing in their family. Their sole reason to keep a dog was for Divita Juneja to get over her cynophobia. Thereafter they expanded their family by bringing two more cutest living beings into their lives. Elfie and Muffy are two tiny bundles of joys teaching Divita what selfless love and care feel like.

Mexican Cuisine

Divita Juneja is a huge fan of Mexican cuisine. She will skip all of her cheat meals in exchange for that one crispy shell taco. Mexican cuisine, as per her, is extremely scrumptious, so much so that she can never stop licking her fingers. This has been her guilty pleasure for over three years now. She makes every effort during her travels to sample as much Mexican food as she could. Even her close friends and family can’t help but notice how pleased she gets when she eats this food.

Travel Diaries

Traveling is an exotic experience that she thoroughly enjoys. For the majority of her life, she has just been traveling to different countries and cities with her family and relatives. So far, the count of the countries she has traveled to is more than 50. Waking up to new sunrises and sunsets rekindles her spirits and makes her wonder what the horizons have in store for her.

Love for Snooker

Divita Juneja likes to play pool with her family and friends in her spare time. It was due to the outbreak of the COVID pandemic and the associated spare time with the standstill that she was introduced to this premium sport at a family friend’s place. And since then, she hasn’t missed any chances to get her hands on it.

Reading Spree

Divita Juneja’s first book was “The Power of Subconscious Mind,” which was an eye-opening read that introduced her to the world of manifestation and taught her the true potential that the universe’s “power of imagination” possesses. “8 Rules of Love” by Jay Shetty was the second book that she read, and it taught her how important it is to love oneself, especially during the days of solitude. The book also brought to her notice the significance of “first impressions” in our lives.

YouTube Presence

Divita Juneja has expressed her acting skills poignantly on YouTube by enacting some of the strong roles on screen. She has a knack for shortlisting the themes that not only touch the hearts of the viewers but also give them something to contemplate about. She has also shared the screen with Urvashi Rautela for one of the advertisements for Roop Mantra. Apart from this, she also shared a morale-boosting video, “Nayi Subah Aayegi”, during the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, as it had brought the lives of many people to a standstill and left them aggrieved and bored.
